OMG, it's the epic sandwich of epicness! I was feeling adventurous one day and decided to make this, and I'm so glad I did, this was the best sandwich I've ever had in my life. No kidding. Ingredients:
1 whole wheat sandwich thin, or a bagel. bread would be too thin and delicate for a sandwich as epic as this. |
peanut butter, i prefer smart balance because it has no hfcs. |
1 banana, sliced |
about 1/4 cup of sweetened shredded coconut |
4 pineapple rings from a can |
Directions:
1. Put a thin layer of peanut butter on each slice of the sandwich so the insides don't move around as much. Layer the banana slices on one side, and sprinkle the coconut on the other. Close it and cut the sandwich into four parts. Open up each part in turn and shove a pineapple ring in there. 2. Really, I went nuts with this. I think I put everything I had into this to see how it tasted. Flounder, jelly, relish, mayo, cinnamon... and finally, we had a winner. How simple, and yet so delicious! You must try this, I'm telling you. Just leave out the relish, that wasn't so good. |
