This is the one. This is the fudge recipe you've been looking for your entire, adult cooking life. Comes out perfect every time and so creamy and delicious! You may use any flavor chips you come across to change the flavor up: peanut butter, dark, white chocolate, butterscotch-the possibilities are only limited to your imagination! Read more ! Enjoy! Ingredients:
3 cups granulated sugar |
1 cup evaporated milk |
2 tablespoons butter |
1 tsp vanilla |
12 oz semi sweet chocolate chips |
1 7oz jar marshmallow creme |
Directions:
1. Boil sugar, milk and butter over med/high heat, 2. stirring constantly for 5 1/2 minutes. (Make sure 3. you see a good bubbling boil starting before you 4. start timing). 5. Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate chips, 6. marshmallow creme and vanillawith spatula 7. or wooden spoon until glossy and evenly mixed. 8. Pour into buttered 9x9 or 11x7 pyrex dish. Place 9. into refrigerator to cool. Cover tightly and keep 10. refrigerated for up to 1 week. 11. NOTES: 12. 1)Easier to cut using a sharp knife while cold. 13. Serve at room temp. 14. 2)May add 1 cup chopped nuts of choice during final 15. mixing of choc/marshmallow creme if desired. 16. 3)Make the fudge different flavors by using different 17. flavors of chips-as long as the measure is still 12 oz. 18.
