In my quest for the perfect, fluffy on the inside, baked potato, this may be it! Ingredients:
4 russet potatoes, ie. baking |
1 egg white |
1/2 cup kosher salt |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425°. 2. Scrub and dry potatoes, remove any blemishes. 3. Beat egg white until foamy. 4. Prick potatoes several times. 5. Coat potato in egg white. 6. Roll in salt. 7. Bake for approx 60 minutes. 8. Top with your favorite toppings (butter, sour cream, cheese, all of the above!). |
