The Most Fantastic Burger |

This is an absolutely fantastic hamburger! Ingredients:
2 1/2 lbs ground beef (preferably) or 2 1/2 lbs ground sirloin (preferably) |
2 teaspoons salt |
2 teaspoons pepper |
1 tablespoon dijon mustard |
3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
4 egg yolks |
6 tablespoons ketchup |
3/4 cup red onion, diced |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients with the exception of the beef. 2. Add beef to mixture and mix until well balanced. Do not over work the mixture! 3. Form into patties 3/4”- 1” thick. If you are serving on a 5” bun, start the burgers at a 5”diameter. 4. Grill to desired preference. This is a delicate burger and once on the grill should be turned only once. 5. Serving condiments should include: Mayonnaise, Green Leaf Lettuce, Tomato, Onion (Red or White), Dill Pickle Slices, **Avocado – Optional – adds a California Flair – Some like it some do not. |
