With spring just around the corner, I thought I would post this. A good friend gave this recipe to me. It works wonders for keeping your lawn nice and green. ADD 4 ounces Listerine Mouthwash to the recipe, ZAAR wont allow it as an ingredient, so it isn't listed, but does need to be added. Ingredients:
1 cup ammonia |
1 cup liquid dish soap |
1 (12 ounce) can beer |
1 (12 ounce) can cola |
1 teaspoon instant tea |
Directions:
1. Mix all the ingredients together, including 4 ounces Listerine mouthwash, and put into an empty Miracle Grow container that attaches to your watering hose.
2. Spray your lawn with the mixture once every few weeks.
3. The ammonia acts like a fertilizer, the dish soap washes off pollutants, the beer kills the weeds.
4. DO NOT use diet soda, it needs the sugar, and the mouthwash kills the bugs.
