Legend has it this coctail was first served in a Glaswegian pub. It was inspired by references to Absinthe in Dracula and Moulin Rouge . My husband enjoys a whiskey so I was pleased that he enjoyed this cocktail. Ingredients:
2 fluid ounces absinthe |
2 fluid ounces lemon juice |
2 fluid ounces water |
3 sugar cubes |
2 teaspoons egg whites |
1 dash herbal bitters (found in liquor stores) |
Directions:
1. Shake thouroughly and strain into a martini glass.
2. This would be great for Halloween it has a misty green color.
