The Dawn's Hash Brown Casserole |

This dish from my friend Dawn is great at breakfast, brunch, or dinner. Pairs excellent with ham, eggs benedict, or pretty much any standard breakfast food. I usually add more onion as a personal preference. Ingredients:
1 lb ore ida frozen hash browns |
1 (10 ounce) can cream of chicken soup |
1 pint sour cream |
1 1/2 cups mild shredded cheddar cheese |
1/3 cup diced onion |
1/2 cup butter |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. In a large sauce pan melt butter and add all ingredients except potatoes 2. When onions are translucent add potatoes and heat through. 3. Place into a greased 3 quart glass baking dish. 4. Cover and chill overnight. 5. Bake uncovered at 350 for one hour or until bubbly. |
