A good old vintage drink from a Brisbane bar. Ingredients:
4 slices ginger, roughly 3cm x 2mm thick |
50 ml jim beam whiskey |
20 ml lime juice |
15 ml sugar syrup |
Directions:
1. Muddle the ginger in a bar glass or shaker. 2. Half fill with ice, add the rye whiskey, lime and sugar. 3. Shake, strain into a tall glass full of ice, top with ginger ale, garnish with a lime wedge and serve. |
