a healthy alternative to the normal food options Ingredients:
2 large sweet potatoes |
1 tablespoon olive oil |
1 tablespoon tony chachere's seasoning |
1 lime |
1 lb turkey meat |
10 ounces rotel, drained |
1 avocado |
6 whole grain buns |
Directions:
1. Juliene the sweet potatoes. 2. Place in bowl, mix in the olive oil and the tony checharies. 3. cook in oven at 400 for 35-45 minutes. If not getting crispy edges, broil for the last 3 minutes. 4. When pulled out, squeeze lime juice on the carrots. 5. Mix the turkey and the rotel in a bowl. 6. Shape and grill as you would with beef. 7. Toast the whole wheat bun. 8. Layer from bottom: whole wheat bun bottom, advocado, turkey and the top bun. Eat with sweet potato fries. |
