The absolute best pecan pie I've ever made. My family has used this recipe for years! Don't know why it's so much better than other recipes, but it truly is. Thanks to Diane, MadMommy , for the wonderful picture! Read more ! Ingredients:
4 eggs, beaten |
1/3 cup butter |
1 cup sugar |
1 cup light corn syrup |
1 tsp. vanilla |
1/4 tsp. salt |
1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell |
1 cup pecan halves |
Directions:
1. Combine butter, sugar, and corn syrup in a medium saucepan. 2. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves and butter melts. 3. Cool slightly, then add beaten eggs, vanilla and salt to mixture. 4. Stir well. 5. Pour into unbaked pie shell and top with pecan halves. 6. Bake 325 for 50 min. |
