I got this recipe from my Grandmother who is German, and does not spare any calories to sacrifice flavor! Ingredients:
1/2 cup cocoa |
1 cup granulated sugar |
1/2 cup water |
1/2 cup light corn syrup |
1 cup cream |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Put first four (4) ingredients into a pan and cook to soft ball stage 238 degrees. 2. Remove from heat and add cream, vanilla. 3. Serve hot on Ice cream, Pies,Cakes, or whatever your imagination comes up with. 4. Enjoy my friends. 5. Store in refrigerator, Jar and give as gifts! |
