For an extra-special dessert, serve each square topped with a scoop of ice cream and caramel sauce...delicious! Ingredients:
1 cup butter, melted |
2 cups brown sugar, packed |
2 eggs, beaten |
2 teaspoons vanilla extract |
2 cups all-purpose flour |
1/2 teaspoon baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 cup chopped pecans |
1 cup white chocolate chips |
3/4 cup toffee or caramel baking bits |
Directions:
1. Line a 13 x9 baking pan with parchment paper. Spray sides of pan with non-stick vegetable spray and set aside. In a large bowl, mix together butter and brown sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla until mixture is smooth. 2. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt; mix in pecans, chocolate chips and baking bits. Pour into prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake at 375° for 30 to 40 minutes or until set in the middle. Allow to cool in pan before cutting into squares. |
