This fried rice recipe is so good the kids used to ask for THAT RICE. After about 6 months of hearing That Rice I gave up calling it Fried Rice. It is very good and very filling! Ingredients:
8 strips bacon |
1/2 carrot grated |
1 med. onion, chopped |
1 1/2 cut chopped ham |
2 eggs |
3 cups cold cooked rice |
2 tbsp soy sauce |
salt to taste |
Directions:
1. Fry bacon until crisp; crumble, set aside 2. Cook carrot and onion in 2 tbsp of the bacon drippings, remove from pan, set aside 3. Fry ham and remove from pan 4. Scramble eggs in pan; add rice; add soy sauce and salt. Stir until rice is heated. 5. Return all ingredients to the pan and stir to mix. 6. ENJOY |
