RICH-chocolate dessert-good with ice cream Ingredients:
2 sticks margarine or butter, melted |
2 c sugar |
1 tsp vanilla |
6 tbl cocoa |
4 eggs |
1 c flour |
pinch of salt |
1/4 c pecan pieces |
Directions:
1. Cream together the butter, sugar, vanilla and cocoa. 2. Lightly beat the eggs and add to sugar mixture. 3. Add flour. 4. Blend in the nuts. 5. Pour the batter into an ungreased 8 X 8 inch pan. Place this pan inside another larger pan, the bottom which is covered with water. 6. As it bakes, the top will form a crust, but the inside will remain pudding-like. 7. Bake in pre-heated 325 oven for 45 minutes. 8. Spoon into bowls and serve hot with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream on top. |
