This is a delightful and traditional Thanksgiving dessert, Everyone has to have a pumpkin pie for this Holiday!! Ingredients:
1 pie shell, unbaked (9-inch) |
2 eggs |
2 cups cooked pumpkin, smoothly mashed |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon ginger |
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg |
3/4 cup brown sugar |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 1/3 cups evaporated milk |
Directions:
1. Chill pie shell while preparing filling. 2. Beat eggs until foamy. 3. Beat in remaining ingredients. Pour into pie shell. 4. Bake pie in 425F oven for 15 minutes; reduce heat to 350°F Bake about 45 minutes longer, or until knife inserted in center, comes out clean. 5. Cool before serving. 6. Delicious served with whipped cream! |
