Ingredients:
1 whole(s) butternut squash |
1 stick(s) cinnamon |
8 whole(s) cloves |
2 cup(s) fresh cranberries |
1 whole(s) granny smith apple |
1 cup(s) honey |
1/4 cup(s) light brown sugar |
1 whole(s) nutmeg |
1 cup(s) orange juice |
1 whole(s) orange rind |
1 cup(s) water |
Directions:
1. Peel and seed butternut squash and cut into 1 inch cubes. Peel granny smith apple and cut into 1 inch cubes. Place orange rind, nutmeg, cinnamon stick, and cloves in cheesecloth and tie up bundle. 2. Place all ingredients into saucepot with cheesecloth bundle, cover, and simmer for 1 hour. Allow to rest for at least 30 minutes prior to serving. |
