What could be better than Girl Scout cookies? Dessert made with Girl Scout cookies! From the Girl Scouts of North Alabama Council. Ingredients:
for bread pudding |
one box thank you berry munch girl scout cookies |
1/3 cup cranberries - fresh sliced, or dried or craisins |
two eggs slightly beaten |
three tbs sugar |
one tsp vanilla |
one tsp grated orange peel |
1/4 tsp cinnamon |
one cup milk |
for vanilla sauce |
one small box cook and serve vanilla pudding |
two cups of milk for making the pudding |
1/2 cup of milk for thinning the pudding |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees 2. Grease bottom and sides of a 1 quart casserole dish 3. Break cookies into pieces 4. Place the cookie pieces in the bottom of the casserole 5. Sprinkle cranberries over the cookie pieces 6. In mixing bowl, beat eaggs with a fork, then stir in sugar, vanilla, orange peel, and cinnamon 7. Stir in 1 cup milk 8. Bake for 30 minutes until set 9. Make warm vanilla sauce 10. Prepare cook and serve pudding as directed on box 11. Thin with 1/2 cup of milk to make into a sauce 12. Serve pudding warm with warm sauce |
