Thalhimers' Chicken Salad |

Thalhimers was a department store in downtown Richmond that no longer exists. We do there for lunch, get the chicken salad plate, which had cold asparagus spears and cantaloupe. Wonderful!! Ingredients:
2 cups cubed cooked chicken breasts |
2 cups finely chopped celery |
2 tablespoons fresh-squeezed lemon juice |
1/2 cup hellman mayonnaise (no substitute) |
1/2 teaspoon white pepper |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, combine chicken, celery, lemon juice and mayonnaise. 2. Stir to blend. 3. Add pepper and salt and mix thoroughly. 4. Chill before serving. 5. 8 servings. |
