Thai Tofu with Chiles and Basil

Ingredients:
2 1/4 tablespoons fish sauce
2 1/4 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
3 garlic cloves, chopped
3 hot peppers, seeded and sliced
1 1/4 pounds tofu
1 cup fresh basil
1 lime juice to taste
Directions:
1. Combine fish sauce, soy sauce, and sugar in a small bowl; set aside.
2. Heat a cast-iron skillet or wok over high. Add oil and heat; add garlic and half the hot peppers. Cook, stirring constantly, 15
3. seconds.
4. Add cubed tofu and cook.
5. Add soy mixture and cook 30 seconds.
6. Add basil and remaining chiles and stir to combine. Serve tofu over coconut rice with lime wedges.
7. Tofu can be substituted with 1.25 lbs. ground beef, lamb, pork or turkey.
