These beans are great as a side or as a main dish when served over rice. It's super quick and pretty snazzy. The sauce can be used on all kinds of things. Ingredients:
3 c rice (i prefer brown basmati) |
2 c green beans |
1/2 c peanut butter (crunchy or creamy) |
1/4 c soy sauce |
1 tbs lemon juice |
2 tsp honey |
1 minced garlic clove |
1 tsp ginger (crystalized is the best!) |
1/2 to 1/3 c water |
sriracha (or other, subpar) hot sauce to taste |
a dash of sesame oil, if you've got it |
Directions:
1. cook rice See Photo 2. steam chopped & cleaned beans for 6 minutes 3. in a small sauce pan over low heat, mix together remaining ingredients See Photo 4. CHOW |
