Hoi Tod is typically a small dish and it's enjoyed as apperitzer. Mussels are often serve like pizza that are mix into flour and pan fry and top with bean spout and Thai sweet chili sauce. Ingredients:
3/4 cup mussels |
1 cup bean sprouts |
1/2 cup fresh parsley |
spring onion chopped |
8 tablespoons tapioca flour |
1/2 cup soda water or 7up |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
vegetable oil for cooking |
thai sweet chilli sauce |
Directions:
1. Mix tapioca flour with salt, pepper, soda water and parsley. 2. In a wok or frying pan heat 3 tbsp. vegetable oil at high heat. Spread some mussels mixture onto just like you making pan cake. Cook a little at a time for each indivial serving. Cook each side for 1-2 mintues until it form a round pan cake look. Place on a serving plate. 3. Top with been spout, spring onion and Thai chilli sauce. |
