A sweet and spicy pizza. Chicken satay on a crust. Ingredients:
1 thin pizza crust (refrigerator, boboli, or your favorite) |
2 cloves garlic, minced |
1/3 cup peanut butter |
2 tablespoons honey |
2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar |
1 tablespoon soy sauce |
1 teaspoon minced gingerroot |
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes |
1/2 cup diced red bell pepper |
2 green onions, sliced |
1 large carrot, shredded |
1 cup bean sprouts |
1 cup chopped cooked chicken breast |
chopped peanuts, to garnish |
cilantro, to garnish |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425; bake pizza crust for 8-10 minutes. 2. Whisk peanut butter, honey, vinegar, soy, ginger and crushed red pepper together; spread over baked crust. 3. Top with remaining ingredients and garnishes. 4. Omit chicken for a vegetarian meal. |
