I wasn't sure about this recipe at first. But after I made it we loved it. I do like to keep the lettuce separate until serving but good either way. Ingredients:
1 bunch romaine lettuce |
4 ounces pecan pieces |
4 ounces crumbled feta cheese |
8 ounces mild pickled okra |
4 ounces red wine vinaigrette |
Directions:
1. Cut lettuce into 2 inch pieces. 2. Add pecan pieces and cheese then toss gently. 3. Add okra that has been cut into chunks. 4. Drizzle in vinaigrette and toss gently. 5. Chill overnight. 6. Toss well before serving. |
