Ingredients:
2 pounds dried pinto beans |
4 quarts water |
1 pound salt pork, washed and diced |
1 onion, chopped |
1 clove garlic, minced |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Sort and wash beans. Place in a large Dutch oven, and cover with water. Let soak overnight. 2. Add remaining ingredients, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 3 hours or until desired degree of doneness, adding water if necessary. |
