Ingredients:
1 2/3 cups sugar |
1/3 cup white cornmeal |
pinch of salt |
4 eggs, well beaten |
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted |
1/3 cup milk |
2 teaspoons vanilla extract |
1/4 cup chopped pecans |
1 unbaked (9-inch) pastry shell |
pecan halves |
Directions:
1. Combine first 7 ingredients in a medium mixing bowl; beat well. Stir in chopped pecans. Pour filling into pastry shell. Top with pecan halves. Bake at 350° for 55 minutes or until set. Cool before slicing. |
