Texas style Pecan Pie provided by my grandma. Ingredients:
1 cup white corn syrup |
1 cup dark brown sugar |
1/3 teaspoon salt |
2 tablespoons flour |
1/3 cup melted butter |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
3 slightly beaten eggs |
1 1/2 cups pecan halves |
9 inches pie crusts |
Directions:
1. Mix syrup, sugar, salt and flour well. Add melted butter and vanilla. Mix in slightly beaten eggs with other ingredients. Add pecans. Pour into a 9 pie crust. Bake at 350 for about 45 minutes. |
