This is expected at Thanksgiving Dinner. Ingredients:
1/3 cup butter or 1/3 cup margarine, melted |
1 cup sugar |
1 cup light corn syrup |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2 teaspoons vanilla extract |
4 eggs |
1 cup coarsely chopped pecans |
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell |
Directions:
1. Combine butter, sugar, corn syrup, salt, and vanilla in a medium mixing bowl; beat well. 2. Add eggs, and beat well. 3. Stir in pecans. 4. Pour into pastry shell. 5. Bake at 375 degrees for 45-50 minutes. |
