1 cup apple cider vinegar |
2 tablespoons light brown sugar |
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce |
1 tablespoon crushed red chili pepper flakes |
1 tablespoon finely chopped cilantro |
1 teaspoon kosher salt |
1/2 teaspoon anise seed |
1/2 teaspoon cumin seed |
2 garlic cloves, chopped |
2 cups ketchup |
Directions:
1. Puree vinegar, sugar, Worcestershire, chile, cilantro, salt, anise, cumin, and garlic in a blender; pour into a 4-qt. saucepan with ketchup. Cook, stirring, over medium heat, until thickened, about 30 minutes. |
