Haven't tried it yet, but in the search to add some healthier foods (really - anything healthy!) to my diet, this looked interesting. Ingredients:
1 cup usa lentils, washed and drained |
2 cups water |
1/4 cup mayonnaise |
1/4 cup sour cream |
1 teaspoon dry mustard |
1 teaspoon red pepper |
salt, as needed |
tortilla chips |
Directions:
1. Combine lentils and water in a saucepan. 2. Bring to a boil; reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for 40 minutes or until soft. 3. Drain and mash lentils. 4. Combine with remaining ingredients and mix well. 5. Serve with tortilla chips. |
