Good served with french bread & peach pickles, plus combination salad.
Ingredients:
3 large onions, thinly sliced
1 large green pepper, minced
3 tablespoons cooking oil
1 -1 1/2 lb ground beef
2 cups canned tomatoes
1/2 cup uncooked rice
1 -2 teaspoon chili powder
2 teaspoons salt
1 dash pepper
1 dash steak sauce
Directions:
1. Saute onions & green peppers in oil under tender.
2. Add meat & brown until crumbles.
3. Stir in remaining ingredients.
4. Pour into greased 2 quart baking dish.
5. Cover & bake 45 minute at 350 deg.
6. Remove cover & bake 15 minute longer.
