This is a great dish to be made in Texas in the summer, because you don't have to turn the stove on!!! Ingredients:
2 cans blackeyed peas (drained) |
1/2 cup vegetable oil |
1/2 cup cider vinegar |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/2 cup sliced purple onion |
1/2 cup red bell pepper (diced) |
1/2 tsp dry mustard |
1/2 tsp hot sauce |
Directions:
1. Mix together, Cover and chill. Garnish with sliced tomatoes if desired. |
