A quick, easy and impressive little appetizer tart..I always start my Mexican Feast nights with these! Ingredients:
8 oz cream cheese |
1 c. shredded tex-mex style cheese |
1 large egg |
1 can green chilis, diced fine |
dash of chili powder |
48 scoop shaped tortilla chips |
salsa for garnish |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Beat cream cheese with egg, fold in cheese, chilis and chili powder. 3. Arrange corn chips on a baking sheet and fill with cheese mixture. 4. Bake until filling sets, about 20 minutes 5. Place a bit of drained salsa on top, for garnish, and a dollop of sour cream, if you wish. |
