This is a very quick dinner recipe from my Mexican sis in law, yet with similar speed you can use fresh ingredients! (in stead of Tex Mex stuff) Ingredients:
500 gr minced beef |
100 ml (3 1/2 fluid ounce) beer |
3 tablespoon corn cooking oil |
1 taco dinner kit or |
-3 tomatoes, diced |
-chilies to taste (jalapeno) |
-juice of half a fresh lime |
-3 cloves garlic |
-1 red onion, sliced |
-1 teaspoon cummin |
-1 teaspoon red parika powder |
-salt |
-1 teaspoon brown sugar |
-1 tablespoon tomatopuree |
Directions:
1. Fry onions and beef in oil 2. Add all other ingredients and let cook for 20 minutes 3. Meanwhile heat tacos in oven (any kind of tortilla or pita bread can do) 4. Fill tacos with the cooked meat, some extra salad and fresh tomato, adding lime and any hot salsa to taste |
