A wonderful moist bread that brings them back for seconds. Add your favorites, nuts, chocolate chips or raisins for a different flavour. This recipe was handed down to me from my mother who used it for years. Ingredients:
3 cups sugar |
2 cups oil |
8 eggs |
4 cups mashed bananas |
7 cups all-purpose flour |
8 teaspoons baking powder |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
2 teaspoons salt |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease 4 loaf pans. 2. Combing flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large bowl. 3. Combine sugar, oil and eggs, beat until frothy. Add bananas and blend. Fold into flour mixture until well blended. Pour into prepared loaf pans and bake for 1 hour. |
