A great tasting potato dish that is soooo yummy! You could use low-fat sour cream and low-fat cheddar cheese to reduce the fat but it isn't as creamy and delicious. Ingredients:
5 -6 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced |
1 (8 ounce) carton sour cream |
1 -2 garlic clove, minced |
1 small onion, chopped |
1 (1 ounce) package dry ranch dressing mix |
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese |
pepper |
3 pieces bacon, fried, drained and crumbled |
Directions:
1. Boil the potatoes until tender and drain. Put the potatoes with onion and garlic in a bowl. 2. Combine sour cream, salad dressing mix and a little pepper. Toss with potato mixture til well coated being careful not to smash the potatoes. 3. Put the potato mixture into a greased 2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes. Sprinkle the top with bacon and serve. Enjoy! |
