I have never tried this, but have a bottle of sorghum in my pantry from our food swap (2), so I needed to find some uses for it! This site is a great way to store recipes I want to try! Ingredients:
1 pie crust, in pie pan (9 inch) |
5 eggs |
1/3 cup sugar |
1 1/4 cups pure sorghum molasses |
Directions:
1. In a bowl beat eggs until smooth. 2. Add sugar along with sorghum, and beat for 1 more minute. 3. Pour sorghum mixture into pie shell. 4. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 350, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. 5. Let cool before serving. |
