Ground turkey burgers with teriyaki glaze Adapted from Teriyaki Chicken Burgers found in Fast and Healthy July/August 1996 Ingredients:
1 lb fresh ground turkey breast |
1 cup corn flakes, crushed |
2 teaspoons stevia, sweatener |
1 teaspoon gingerroot, grated |
1 teaspoon low sodium soy sauce |
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil |
2 green onions, chopped |
1 garlic clove, minced |
Directions:
1. In large bowl, combine all ingredients; mix well. shape into 6 firmly pressed patties 1/2 thick. 2. When ready to grill, lightly oil grill rack. Place patties on grill over medium heat. Cook 8 to 10 minutes until no longer pink in center turning once (Do Not press while cooking). 3. Serve as you would a normal burger, or serve with fresh pineapple rings, teriyaki or sweet and sour sauce, and sesame buns. |
