This is a great sauce. Add this to stir fried vegies,rice,over cooked chicken, or over a ribeye in the final moments of cooking to add a great oriental flavor. I hope ya'll enjoy it. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons cornstarch |
2 tablespoons water |
1 1/2 cups white sugar |
1 1/2 cups soy sauce |
1/2 cup cider vinegar |
3 crushed garlic cloves |
1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger |
3/4 teaspoon ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Mix sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, ginger, and pepper and simmer. 2. Combine cornstarch and water together and whisk into sauce, simmer until the sauce thickens to your liking. |
