Accompany grilled foods or even place atop pasta with Alfredo sauce Ingredients:
2 large onions, peeled and sliced |
1 tbs butter |
1tbs olive oil |
2 tsp honey |
2 tbs teriyaki sauce |
variation |
4 tbs white wine instead of teriyaki and honey |
Directions:
1. On medium heat cook and stir onions in the butter and oil until half their volume .. 2. Then stir in the honey and teriyaki,over low heat and cook and stir till onions are tender and most of liquid is evaporated. 3. Onions will be almost caramelized 4. Serve over steak or the wine version over pasta. |
