Teriyaki marinade for chicken, steak, or pork. I got this recipe from a restaurant when I was in my late teens. We used it on flank steak in the restaurant, but I have found it works great for chicken and pork as well. Meat is best if grilled over a very hot flame. I cut the meat into smaller pieces to shorted the marinating time. Ingredients:
2 lbs chicken, steak or 2 lbs pork |
1/2 cup soy sauce |
1/2 cup honey |
1 cup pineapple juice |
2 teaspoons minced garlic, cloves |
2 teaspoons garlic, powder |
garlic, can be adjusted to taste |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients in a non-reactive bowl. 2. Place meat into a gallon plastic bag. 3. Pour marinade over meat and seal bag. 4. Place in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight depending on thickness of meat. |
