This easy recipe is from the Good housekeeping cookbook I lost in my housefire, I have made it so many times, I have it memorised. I like to maridnade beef cubes in it and have shish-ka-bob night and serve over rice. It also uses basic on hand ingredients. Ingredients:
1/2 cup soy sauce |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1 tablespoon vegetable oil |
2 tablespoons lemon juice |
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger |
2 cloves garlic, pressed |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together. 2. Makes enough for about 2 pounds of meat. |
