This is a super fast, easy and delicious all purpose marinade. Just as wonderful on flank steak as it is on chicken. Ingredients:
1/2 cup soy sauce |
1/4 cup sugar |
1/4 cup mirin or 1/4 cup dry sherry |
1/4 cup salad oil |
1 tablespoon fresh gingerroot |
2 cloves garlic |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. 2. Pour over desired meat in a large zip lock bag and marinate preferably overnight, but at least 3 or 4 hours. 3. Makes enough for 2-3 pounds of meat. |
