Grilled salmon with an oriental marinade. Preperation time includes marinating time. Ingredients:
1/4 cup brown sugar, not packed |
3 tablespoons oil |
3 tablespoons soy sauce |
1 1/2 tablespoons garlic, minced |
1 1/2 tablespoons fresh ginger, minced |
4 (4 -6 ounce) salmon fillets |
Directions:
1. In a shallow baking dish, combine brown sugar, oil, soy sauce, garlic and ginger. 2. Place salmon fillets in a baking dish. 3. Turn fish over several times to coat; refrigerate 30 minutes. 4. Remove salmon from marinade. 5. Cook on heavy duty foil sheet on medium hot grill, turning once during cooking, about 6 to 12 minutes per inch of thickness. Do not overcook. |
