This recipe uses the less expensive cut of chicken (drumsticks and wings). Ingredients:
1 lb chicken drumstick |
1 lb chicken wings |
1/4 cup sugar |
1/4 cup soy sauce |
1 tablespoon oil |
1 teaspoon ginger |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350°F. 2. Line 15x10x1-inch baking pan with foil for easy clean up. 3. Arrange chicken pieces on foil. 4. In small saucepan, combine all glaze ingredients over medium-high heat, stirring constantly. 5. Boil 1 minute or until sugar dissolves. Brush over chicken. 6. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes; turn and brush with glaze for an additional 25 to 35 minutes or until chicken is fork tender and juices run clear. |
