These tangy chicken drummettes have a medley of flavors...everything from sweet to spicy to tangy. Served as an appetizer or as a main course over rice they are a crowd pleaser. Ingredients:
large package of chicken drummettes (12 drummettes or more) |
3 cups of terriyaki sauce (i prefer kikoman) |
2 cups of cooking sherry |
1 cup of honey |
1 clove of finely minced garlic |
1 tsp of red pepper flakes |
Directions:
1. Wash drummettes in warm water and pat dry. 2. In a large bowl wisk together Terriyaki sauce, cooking Sherry, honey, garlic and red pepper flakes. 3. Add chicken drummettes and thoroughly coat with marinade. 4. Allow to sit in a fridge for at least half an hour. 5. On an aluminum foil covered baking sheet evenly spread out drummettes and cook in a preheated 325 degree oven for 30-40 minutes or until done. |
