This sauce is so versatile it can be used on other meats and goes wonderful with salmon. Ingredients:
4 boneless chicken breasts |
3/4 cup brown sugar |
3/4 cup soy sauce |
1 -2 tablespoon rice wine vinegar |
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated |
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
Directions:
1. Rinse chicken under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Place chicken breasts in a large zip lock bag. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, grated ginger, pepper and minced garlic. Mix well, and pour over chicken, refrigerate for 4-6 hours. 3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 4. In a large baking dish put chicken and marinade uncovered and bake in the oven for 50 minutes or until no longer pink in the center, basting often with the sauce. |
