I love that you make the teriyaki sauce in this recipe instead of using the bottled kind. Bake or grilled this chicken is wonderful! Sometimes we use it on kabobs with onion and pineapple too. Ingredients:
4 chicken breasts |
1/2 cup soy sauce |
1/4 cup cider vinegar |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
2 tablespoons minced onions |
1 tablespoon vegetable oil |
1 garlic clove, minced |
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger |
Directions:
1. Place chicken in large glass bowl, dish or ziploc bag. 2. Combine soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, onion, oil, garlic and ginger. Pour over chicken as toss gently. 3. Cover and refrigerate for 2-3 hours. 4. Drain and discard marinade. 5. Preheat grill, broiler or oven. 6. Cook meat until juices run clear when meat is pierced with a knife. |
