This soup is so good, family and friends ask for it as birthday gifts. Ingredients:
1 (5 lb) bag potatoes, peeled and cubed |
5 cups water |
1/4 cup dried onion flakes |
1/2 cup celery, chopped |
1/2 cup carrot, peeled and thinley chopped |
1/4 cup margarine |
4 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules |
2 teaspoons salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk |
1 teaspoon dried parsley |
1/2 cup instant potato flakes |
Directions:
1. Combine in crockpot first 9 ingredients. 2. Cover and cook on high 5 hours. 3. Add milk, parsley and potato flakes. 4. Cover and cook 30-60 minutes longer, or until potato's are tender. |
