Looking for a different taste for your green beans? These are made with Roma beans (a flat Italian green bean), olive oil, garlic, oregano, onion and mushrooms. My mom used to make them all the time. I am guessing at the preparation and cook time.
Ingredients:
1 quart roma beans
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 cup mushroom
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/8 teaspoon minced garlic
1/4 teaspoon oregano
salt and pepper
Directions:
1. Cook beans in large pan of boiling water until done.
2. Heat olive oil in medium sized skillet over medium heat.
3. Add drained beans, mushrooms, onions, garlic, oregano, salt and pepper.
4. Heat to desired temperature.
