This marinated steak is great on its own, or in fajitas and quesadillas. Ingredients:
1 cup tequila |
1/4 cup honey |
2 limes, juice of |
1 orange, juice of |
4 garlic cloves, smashed |
2 tablespoons olive oil or 2 tablespoons vegetable oil |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes |
1 1/2 lbs skirt steaks |
Directions:
1. Combine all the ingredients in a resealable plastic bag. Make sure to squeeze out any air and refrigerate at least 4 hours, or up until 8. 2. Prepare a grill. 3. Grill steaks for 2 minutes per side for rare. Let rest for 5 minutes before cutting into strips and serving. |
